My College Stress First-Aid Kit

It's my second year in college and I deal with the pains school brings me almost every day. Why not blog about it and maybe help some others out along the way?

I woke up this morning to go physics, which let out fifteen minutes early (its only a 50 minute class by the way), and we didn't even have to go to recitation. As long as we turned in our homework at the end of class we were fine, My professor said that he hadn't been feeling good, so I could tell he wanted to get out of here. The guy drives all the way here from South Hills. Dude, if you're sick why not just cancel? I mean thats the was I see it. As I was laying in bed this morning procrastinating every last second until I absolutely had to get up, I had a gut feeling that physics was going to be pointless today. I'm not encouraging people to skip class or anything, but I'm just saying, sometimes that gut feeling is 100% right.

  1. The worst is when you go to that morning class just to realize it's been cancelled...

  2. Well I mean some professors cancel all the time, and I think what is the point of paying for this class? At least he made an effort to get there. I mean I'm all for following the gut, because I can't say I haven't skipped, but I give him props.

  3. I think he came to class sick because he cares. That's a really good thing.

  4. You guys are right. I should try to be more postive about it. I mean I will be paying back the loans for these classes till I'm 65, so why not get as much out of them as possible. I need to stop complaining so early in the morning.
