My College Stress First-Aid Kit
It's my second year in college and I deal with the pains school brings me almost every day. Why not blog about it and maybe help some others out along the way?

Being Busy
I woke up this morning at 9:30 stressed beyond all belief already. I had already felt like I had a million things to do. However, after I took a hot shower and sat down to do some homework I thought that it was probably good that I've been so busy. I feel like I've been getting more done lately because I've been this busy. So if you're a student and you feel like you're running yourself into the ground with everything weighing you down, take a deep breath, relax, and just get one thing done at a time. You may seem overly busy, but don't worry. Plan out your time accordingly and you'll get it all done. TRUST ME. And maybe sneak some time in for food or a nap at some point. Speaking of food I should probably eat before work. See I'm planning my day as I blog. Ms Multitask right here. Happy Martin Luther King Day everyone and cheers to no classes.

I can proudly say that I got all my work done on Monday! It was amazing but yet, like you said, busy-work... I need to stop procrastinating and plan out my school work schdule and social schdule out so I can also have some me-time lol
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. My one friend who is a year older than me and a nursing student was giving me some much needed advice the other day, and told me to make sure I make a little time for myself every day just to take a deep breath and relax. Even if its just sitting down for 20-30 minutes to eat a meal to make sure I do it. I've been trying that ever since she told me.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading a Zen-ish blog all week. The advice Be Here Now has been helping me with stress. Or stressing me out even more. It depends. The idea is anti-multi-tasking. Do one thing at a time. When you eat, eat. When you drive, drive. When you have a coffee, have a coffee. When you read, read. And as your friend says, when you relax, really relax. Breathe. I love this. It's hard in the world, though. So many stressful distractions.
