My College Stress First-Aid Kit

It's my second year in college and I deal with the pains school brings me almost every day. Why not blog about it and maybe help some others out along the way?

Relaxation quick tip

I suggest everyone light a candle while you study. Not only is it relaxing, and smells good, but I also find them to help me focus a little better. I don't know what it is about their little glow, but I swear it helps.

I have one lit right this second. Good thing too, because I have a whole lab report to type tonight. Fun fun.

  1. Sounds like a good tip-I love candles. Maybe the glow subtly reminds us of the old days when scholars studied and all they had was candles, and that's why it helps with concentration and such. Just a thought.

  2. This is a great idea--as long as your assignments don't catch on fire.

The glow of candles gives a cozy feel to any room.

  3. I actually do this! It's always helped me to relax and quiet my mind a little. It's great to study with candles.
