College Labs

Why do labs even exist? Are they supposed to be hands on experience or something, because I really don't see it. All it ever is are experiments that don't make any sense, but you can bet your ass that they last the full 3-4 hours. Then tons of calculations that I never know how to do on my own, along with a huge lab report. Why?

If I haven't said it on here already, I want to be a Physical Therapist. You know, help people, learn about the body. All that fun stuff. So why have I spent all week doing three different lab reports about how fast weighted carts travel down air tracks? I just don't understand.

The only advise I can give about all this busy work that comes from college labs is to get it done early. I know its hard being the perfect procrastinators that we are, but don't by any means put it off. We have three labs due next week, and my group put it off until, well now. This weekend should be fun. Just kidding.

"Hey Taylor, put your work away its time to eat Easter dinner!" "Hold on. I'm just trying to figure out how fast this cart slid down this inclined air track, and at what angle the track was placed at." "What does that even mean?" "No idea."

Can't wait.

Don't give up yet

Guess what everyone? Only one month till finals week. That means only one more month of hell till the relaxation of summer sinks in.

I know its hard not to, but don't let laziness set in now that theres not much time left. Don't let your grades fall the last few weeks of school, beacause then it will make your finals even harder. I especially know this is tough. I am transfering to main campus next semester, so it kind of feels like I have senioritis. I'm trying my best to keep up the hardwork though, and I hope you all can too.

Spend some extra time in the library, or where ever you like to study. Go an hour early, or stay an hour later than you planned.

I wanted to dedicated a post to my dog, Lexee. My family unexpectedly had to put her down last night. I'm heartbroken.

Next time everyone sees their dog give them a little pet for me. Appretiate the love they have for you, no matter how many times they poop under the dining room table.

Back to reality

Happy first day of spring everyone. More importantly happy free Ritas day. Did anyone take advantage of the free Italian ice? Personally, I did not. Too cold.

I hope everyone had a nice spring break. Now, if we could just get some more spring-like-weather, things would be perfect. Well, that and school being over.

Spring break

With spring break coming up I wanted to ask everyone if they have anything fun planned for this years break? Any random road trips, or planned out vacations?

Also, everyone should tell me their best spring break experience. Where did you go? What did you see? Who did you go with? Tell me everything. I'm only a sophomore, so this is only my second spring break. I haven't gotten a chance to go anywhere yet, or plan any vacations, but I would love to hear about yours.
